There’s a lot of joy that comes from jumping in the car to go and view houses all lit up with Christmas lights. But here’s a tip: get out and walk the best streets with your family. You’ll get your steps up for the day while you spy all that sparkly magic up close, you’ll burn a few extra kJ’s from over-indulging at Christmas parties, and you will really feel like you’re enveloping the festive spirit. Here’s where to go…

WARNING: we have heard that ice-cream trucks often cruise the best streets, so you may like to avoid these if you want to make your walk count!
