Held annually at the beginning of summer, the 3 Bay Challenge is a perfect weekend challenge for professionals, biathlon enthusiasts and those competing for the first time.
The 3 Bay Challenge is a three-stage biathlon where participants run between and swim at three of Sydney’s iconic harbour beaches: Nielsen Park, Parsley Bay and Watsons Bay. The event is both challenging and unique, set in an idyllic location with the background drop of the Sydney CBD.
The course consists of three running legs and three swimming legs. Total distance is 6km run and 750m swim. Marshall’s and lifeguards are on course at all times.
After successfully competing in the 3 Bay Challenge, the tradition is to meet at the Watsons Bay Hotel for a celebratory drink and bite to eat. Your registration fee includes one drink and food item.
All proceeds go to the Australian Rhino Project.
COST: $35 per person (before 20 October), then $45 per person.
