Ever wanted to abseil a waterfall? Well, you can!
The Eagle Rock Empress Canyon experience is a perfect way to be introduced to canyoning. The canyon consists of majestic rainforest scenery with rock jumps from 2-5 metres, and the finale is a breathtaking 30-metre abseil down a raging waterfall!
The longest swim required to complete is approximately 10m. You will be provided with a thick, warm wetsuit, canyoning harness, backpack and a helmet. Once you are geared up, we will give you abseil preparation training, then off we go to start our journey into the depths of the canyon! This is a three-hour activity, and is a self-drive option only.
The experience is suitable for beginners, and optional extra obstacles make this canyon rewarding for keen individuals.
Experiences run from September to mid-June.
COST: $129 per person. All canyoning equipment, qualified canyoning guide, safety instruction including abseiling techniques, is included.
