  • Occupy your kids with a variety of exciting sports during the second week of the school holidays.

    The Fairplay Sports holiday program offers high-quality coaching and aims to help every child develop skills that will assist him or her become a productive and successful sportsperson. Games are fast-paced and fun, and build kids’ technical and tactical understanding of the sport.

    Children can choose between tennis, soccer, tennis multi-sports, soccer multi-sports, basketball, AFL and Oztag from Tuesday 3 October to Friday 6 October.

    TENNIS: 9am to 12pm

    At tennis camp, kids develop serves, groundstrokes, volleys and overheads through game play. Tennis competitions will be held on Thursday and Friday for the older students to provide them with an opportunity to use and test their newly acquired skills.

    SOCCER: 9am to 3.30pm

    At soccer camp, the kids develop their kicking technique and understanding of space and movement of the ball through game play. At the end of every session, the kids play a soccer match to use and test their newly acquired technical and tactical skills.

    AFL: 9am to 12pm

    At AFL camp, kids develop their kicking and handball technique, marking skills and understanding of space through game play. At the end of every session, the kids play an AFL match to use and test their newly acquired technical and tactical skills.

    OZTAG: 12.30pm to 3.30pm

    At OzTag camp, kids develop their passing technique, running lines and understanding of attack and defence through game play. The skills and knowledge developed at the OzTag camp are also applicable for touch rugby, rugby union and rugby league. At the end of every session, the kids play an OzTag match to use and test their newly acquired technical and tactical skills.

    BASKETBALL: 3.30pm to 5.30pm

    At basketball camp, kids develop their dribbling, passing and shooting skills. At the end of every session, the kids play a basketball match to use and test their newly acquired technical and tactical skills.

    SOCCER MULTI-SPORTS: 12.15pm to 3.30pm

    At soccer multi-sports camp, kids play soccer + one other sport each day. The other sports include: tennis, basketball, European handball, floor hockey and cricket. This helps the kids to develop fundamental gross motor skills, such as catching, throwing, kicking and hitting. It also exposes kids to sports they may not otherwise get an opportunity to play.

    At tennis multi-sports camp, kids play tennis + one other sport each day. The other sports include: tennis, basketball, European handball, floor hockey and cricket. This helps the kids to develop fundamental gross motor skills, such as catching, throwing, kicking and hitting. It also exposes kids to sports they may not otherwise get an opportunity to play.

     

    FOR AGES: boys and girls, 4-12 years (6-12 years for AFL and Oztag)
    COST: $160 for four days of basketball camp; $185 for other camps (see website for soccer camp pricing). Ask about pricing for individual days. Sibling and referral discounts apply, plus build credit to use at future camps
